's body was missing. he was homeless for a while and then he boarded up alongside the river with another homeless person and i was -- i would help him out when i could and they went missing and they found him. >> jesse: i'm sorry. how have you felt the response has been so far? >> it's too late. they took too long.

really in need. when you saw these couples hold this mirror up into the sky, you must have barely seen that right? >> you are right. we are flying around, we have general areas that we are looking and we've got coordinates and we are trying to find people that are requesting help. everybody needs help. caught out of the corner of my eye, i saw the mirror flashing and i told aaron it, i said i got saw flashover there. we started circling around and looking. that canyon was so far down in there you can't see there is power lines across it. it was one of the most difficult landings as a pilot in this mission so far. you can see the power lines there. it makes you feel good to be able to get things to these folks that are making it -- making a difference. >> jesse: when you are helping these people, what are they

telling you? >> the relief that you can see in their face and their eyes and there voice. just seeing people privately come in there and help them bring supplies, knowing that somebody is out there doing something. it's one of the greatest feelings in the world to watch the relief on those people win you get there. there's a lot of people out there that are isolated and need a lot of help. >> how can they get a hold of you or flag you down or what you want to tell the people out there now? >> there is lots of efforts going on. the response has been incredible. it started out with two helicopters, next morning with. by the end of that day, 25 and now probably 50 or 60 helicopters turning and burning missions and people are bringing supplies to the airport that we are getting coordinates.
